The Lavazza A Modo Mio is the first “travelling” espresso coffee machine, which enables you to prepare an authentic Italian espresso in your car, camper van, boat or any means of transport with a 12V socket. The agency has translated this novelty, which is destined to revolutionise coffee-drinking habits, into a fresh, striking brand identity. The study for the “EspressGo” name, designed to convey the machine’s peculiar characteristics, was followed by the development of a logo that can bring out its dynamism, recalling the image of the A Modo Mio brand. At the same time, the key visual outlines a road itinerary using the cigarette lighter cord and “location pins”, the pointer symbols made famous by Google Maps. It creates a relaxed, immediate image also in the packaging.
